Openwork Shawl – Pink & Blue

Description

The shawl is worked row by row in gradient yarn, so the colour changes gradually – from pink at the neck to cornflower blue at the edges. Every few rows, I work in an openwork band that forms delicate waves.

It's large enough to wear as a wrap over your shoulders, tied at the neck or thrown over a coat. In summer, it's perfect for evenings on the terrace; in autumn, it adds warmth to any outfit.

Care

Hand wash in lukewarm water with a mild detergent, without rubbing or wringing. Press out the water in a towel and dry flat, shaping by hand, away from radiators.

I make every piece by hand, so the stitch pattern and shade may differ slightly from the photo. That isn't a flaw – it's a sign that the item was made by hand, not by a machine.
