Description
I crochet the basket from cord. The dense stitch holds its shape, and I add the comb, beak and eye at the end to give the hen her character.
On the Easter table it holds painted eggs, and for the rest of the year small items, keys or sweets. It fits in the palm of your hand and instantly lifts your mood.
Care
Spot-clean minor marks with a damp cloth and a little plain household soap. If needed, hand wash in lukewarm water, gently press out the water and dry flat, shaping by hand. Do not machine wash or dry on a radiator.
Handmade
I make every piece by hand, so the stitch pattern and shade may differ slightly from the photo. That isn't a flaw – it's a sign that the item was made by hand, not by a machine.
Made by: Iwona, the maker behind Molaczka, based in Bolesławiec. I have been knitting and crocheting for years, and I make every item in the shop myself – from choosing the yarn to the very last stitch. Get to know me.
Colours shown in the photos may differ slightly from the actual item. This is due, among other things, to individual monitor or display settings and the lighting conditions when the photos were taken.
